Junior & Leaving Cert Mock Exam Timetables

Please click on the links below to get the mock exam timetables for this year’s mock exams. Best of luck to everyone taking them. Remember, they are “MOCK” exams and as such are just trial runs for the state exams in June. A little bit of preparation before each exam will make all the difference:
- Make sure that you know how long each exam paper is in terms of time
- Make sure you know the layout of the paper (how many short and long answer questions) and the marks going for each section or question of the exam.
- If the total marks for the exam paper are 200 and question 1 is worth 10 marks, then this question is worth 5% of your time in the exam (10 marks out of 200 is 5% of the marks).
- How much is 5% of your time? If the exam is 2 hours long (120 minutes) then 5% of the total time is 6 minutes. This is how long you should give to the this question.
- Be strict with yourself so that you don’t spend too long on some questions. Answer all the questions that you are meant to.
