Attendance Month

Attendance Month

November 2014 has been designated attendance month in St Patrick’s College as we want to encourage the already very good patterns of attendance that we see amongst the girls. Students are asked to monitor their attendance during November and all students will full attendance will be entered into a prize draw. There will be 1 prize draw per class along with a parent’s prize draw for each year group. We have stressed that students who sign out will not be entered into the prize draw as it is better if appointments are arranged outside of school hours. School attendance is important not just for academic progress, but also for social and mental health reasons as students are better off continuing their education in the company of friends and teachers who can offer them guidance about their futures. A letter for parents to explain attendance month can be viewed here.
